Hope you thought to retract the foreskin.

If you bath (as the OP said that he did) and the water covers you, you don't need to retract the foreskin. Water penetration cleans the area without the need to do so (although it's always a help).

One of the recommendations of the medical profession, if you suffer from phimosis and smegma, is to bath instead of showering - for that very reason.
