So I live in a state were recreational marijuana is legal. Folks are starting to do studies about the effects of weed and workouts. The first group seemed to mostly cover post workout muscle repair. In those studies they found the effects after workouts allows your body to relax more and allow the cellular magic to work better. I kinda get that. But the next group covered ingesting before the workout. I read a few that showed many find they are able to focus better during the workout....
So for the first time, I went to the gym today high (just one dose of a gummy bear sativa). I found the workout more fun. I was more "in the zone". My neck which is usually tight as I begin so it must loosen up was already relaxed. I did a nice long cardio and did a nice set of machines and a bit of free weights.
One side effect: I tended to enjoy the fit bodies around me a bit more than usual. I smiled more, and they smiled more as well. Not in a pickup way but just being social and enjoying the moment. This might become my standard Saturday late morning workout Anybody else doing this from time to time?
