Stupid gym policy

I'm assuming that, if the gym requires underwear in all areas but the shower, they've had problems with inappropriate behavior in the past.

Frankly, I'm kind of astounded that any place would have such policies. I've never known gyms to have such, but then it's been a few years. (I had severe neck problems until they rebuilt it a bit over a year ago, and wasn't cleared for much exercising.)

I do notice that the younger set isn't nearly so comfortable with nudity and their bodies as folks my age were when we were their age. That's too bad, in my opinion, as there's a positive aspect to it, which seems to have been replaced with social anxiety and the fear that, somehow, someone else is going to find one's body so uncontrollably alluring that they're going to attack and sexually assault it.

That said, when I was going to gyms, I generally wrapped in a towel, rather than walking around nude much. But then, I never was much of an exhibitionist.
