I've always had a high sex drive and never had trouble getting it up and keeping it up. Then one day in my mid-30s, BAM. It's like i can't trust my dick any more, when he used to be my best friend. I'm hoping it's super temporary, but anxiety about it is a boner-killer, too. I don't want to get stuck in that cycle.

I know I'm not alone in this. How have you guys managed this?

Nicnic: Go to the web site www.franktalk.org for help on ED issues. Have you tried pills, Cialis, Viagra, Levitra, etc.

Stress, anxiety are major erection killers.
If you workout great that should help. If you drink a lot of beer liquor I'd taper off on that.
Elevate the stress in your life by taking an after dinner leisurely walk.

If you are not a member of a gym, you might want to consider joining a gym. Exercising your body will give you many healthy benefits.

Lift heavy weights which is what I started doing. After only one week of whole body weight lifting I noticed a difference in how many solid erections I was having thru the night and waking with morning wood is always a good thing.

The key is heavy weight low reps. I do this for chest, arms, legs, abs my whole body. Throw in some cardio as well.

If you are over weight heavy lifting burns more calories post workout than just running on a treadmill. If you workout with the intensity I do you'll be sweating and your heart rate will be elevated. You'll need to do that to have a longer post burn.

It has worked for me, after I hit a rut and wasn't having the strong erections that I was used too. If you smoke stop I'm trying to do that myself. It's not easy but I know it'll make my dick happy.

how's your physical health? anything change lately? do you smoke? lots of factors involved.
in my mid 30's, I was having sex w/my wife 3-4 times a day. no problems until my mid 50's, high BP, other health issues. so go see a doctor. get a physical.

I'm in decent shape. Slim, 6' tall, 140 lbs. I don't smoke or drink. I don't work out nearly as much as I should, but I don't think it's a problem with general physical health. I will go to a doc. Hoping it's just a temporary fluke. Haven't tried Viagra or Cialis yet - never needed it before. Thanks for the thoughts, everybody.
