I was in Key West for a week in July (first trip down there). Headed back down in late October/early November.
I have always wondered what the Black Sea coast of Turkey looks like. Tbh, I`m not a huge fan of the Black Sea, well not the part in Bulgaria. I found it quite strange when I saw corn almost growing on the beach, and the climate is continental. The plans posted earlier have changed. As of tomorrow morning I am riding a motorcycle from Bodrum on the Aegean Sea to the northeast corner of Turkey and along the Black Sea coast. If there is time, we'll go into Georgia as well. Then circle back down through Van, Hatay and back along the south coast.
Oh I've never been on a true road trip like that, with no particular destination in mind, I'd love to do that.
Hey I use to do the same thing with my ex. Some of our favorite times were just meandering around the Yakima valley or BC country roads. I love the little thrills of the unknown and unexpected vistas or cafes or weird mailboxes. Just letting it happen. Thinking about it, that is pretty much how I always vacation or travel. My ex and I used to do that all the time, sometimes just a long day trip, sometimes overnights, sometimes longer.

Last year I actually closed my eyes and stuck a pin in a map to decide where to go. The first try I hit Belarus, which was like "no thanks" and so I cheated and went again. I got lucky with Killarney and that was a great place to get lost in for four days.
