Her time has come and Sunny Von Bulow is dead.
I had always hoped she would wake up and be better.
But the fact is, she was desperately unhappy and her time
has come.
While i never met her, I did know her next door neighbor, went to school
with the neighbor kid. But did meet Jeremy Irons at a party in New York after he played Claus in the movie Reversal of Fortune.
Anyway, too bad things didn't work out better for her. Rest in peace Sunny.

I didn't know the former Mrs. Simpson was being kept alive somewhere:confused:.

Well, Wally died 22 years ago.
Caroline Blackwood's book, The Last of the Duchess, tells the tale.
It sounds like she was kept going only by artificial means, largely on orders of Suzanne Blum, her lawyer.
This went on for years, and by some reports, by the time she 'died,' much of her skin had necrotized.
Blum prevented anyone from seeing the Duchess during the last five or six years of her life. She maintained that the Duchess was as lively and well as ever. Strange, because if that assertion were true, surely the Duchess could have thrived in the light of day.

i was unaware of the Duchess' plight. thanks for sharing.
per Sunny Von Bulow - so many people delight in criticizing
a person because of financial status. If a person is lacking
healthy relationships, financial status is irrelevant.
i wish she could have had the support to allow her to be
contented or at least have learned how to accept sincerely
well meaning relationships.

Pretty disgusting. I wasn't aware of that, and surely her worst enemies would not have wished that on her.
