Double fried thick sliced potatoes, beef, veal and pork formed into burger shape, ready to be cooked~~the kitchen overlooks the main room so cooking and watching the game can be done at the same time if commercials end too fast. Fritos chips on every table along with choice of 3 dips~~ onion dip, dill dip and spicy dip with jalapeno peppers, garlic and hot sauce blended with melted velveeta Choices of fresh raw veggies also available for dipping are broccoli~~stalks and bush parts kept seperate, carrots sliced and made into sticks, cucumber slices, Zucchini slices, and string beans with the tips snapped off. There will be plates with crackers, of different kinds from Ritz, to wheat Thins, to Wheatsworth to whatever's on sale that week. Cheese both sliced and in unsliced ~~swiss, munster and extra sharp cheddar. A pecan pie and a blueberry pie made by George {my current event} and some store bought cakes and pastries for those who like that. Most of the food is being done by George since I amd not that good at the cooking and he loves doing it~~and the thing that it's getting done at his place which has more space. I am making the dips~~no comments please and am prepping the veggies for dipping~~or eating straight.

I am in a booze free environment {as in nothing in the home} so the beverages go with soda, milk, water, seltzer, or bring your own~~if you bring booze, keep it close to you and leave with the bottles or cans and any leftover. If you get drunk you will be escorted out and gotten a cab, rules are rules.

SO far there are 11 of us which is ideal for football. Now if I can only get Rex Ryan and Mike Holmgren to join us it will be ideal.

In WI they most always serve bratwurst. Here is a recipe for the next day

Post Superbowl Soup

1/2 tub leftover potato salad
1 cup leftover carrot and celery sticks diced
1 lonesome leftover bratwurst
sauerkraut
leftover brat buns, split and toasted

Slice the brat thinly. Place all ingredients in large kettle, add water intil stew consistency, bring to boil. Add sauerkraut until the grease and salt level is to your liking. Simmer until flavors have blended. Serve with toasted buns on the side.

This is amazingly good, especially if you add whole peeled garlic cloves.
