Jerkin', you were doing fine until your line about Jeb fixing the Florida election. :'(

I don't think that kind of intelligence runs in the current generation of the Bush family.

But didn't Mr. Reagan prove you don't have to be Albert Einstein to be a good President?

A good moral compass, the courage of one's convictions and frequent use of the prayer bones (knees - in supplication to God) make Bush an excellent man to emulate.

prepstudinsc: WEll, I didn't vote for Bush, but he is the President. We have to respect the office, even if we don't agree with him. I know that I wouldn't want to be in his place right now, but I have to respect him for taking a stand.
At least he's holding true to what he believes is right, not bowing down to whoever comes his way with money in hand. THe whole Middle East thing is just way too complicated to get into on here.....I'm glad he stood up for what is right. I'm not sure that how he went about it was right, and I think that's why many Europeans are not supporting us. Who could argue that people's rights were being violated. Something drastic needed to be done. It's just such a complicated issue that I don't think there is a definite answer.
All I know is that while Bush is the president, I have to support him. I'll do that by not bashing him and also for praying for him--for wisdom and peace while he leads us through this difficult time.

That is in my opnion a great perspective to take. It is indeed a very difficult issue, and no one can come up with a definate answer. Prayer is all we got.

jerkin4-10: pecker, pecker pecker....[shaking head]...with all of the humor you inject here...you fail to recognize some well placed humor by someone else...i think you have taken me much too seriously my friend...i voted for the man...i believe in the man...i think for the country as he inherited it...hes done a wonderful job to get us back on course as a country...we are moving in the right direction here...but....as a large ship at sea straying off course...it will take some time toget back on course...and the last thing we need to to change captains in the middle of a course change...but the jeb bush comment was to envoke a chuckle out of everyone...from someone from the south...who understands 'bubbatics'... ;)

tracksuitboy: Wow, when I joined this group I was under the impression that it was a support group for those with large dicks. It seems I was wrong. The most heated postings concern Bush and Iraq!

AnonyMs: Tracksuitboy... being a member of the board is a lot like any other relationship... after the constant sex [talk] begins to wear off, you settle into the 'real' relationship and begin to discover all the ways you are compatible = or not = outside of sex [talk].

I rarely read the sexually dominated threads much anymore and I know I am not the only one who looks for the more non-sexual postings first. Go figure... a board that is about the support of those with large penises and we discuss politics and religion with relatively good will...

Are we civilized or what? ? ?

jerkin4-10: TSB...i mean theres only so many stories you can tell about a large penis...til someone says...'hey! ive got an idea...what does everyone think about halloween?'...and you find that everyone is not defined just as a person with a big penis...or that admires people with big penises...there are lots of good people here...some very intelligent, wise people here...enjoy all the topics you care to participate in...welcome! :)

That's what I love about this board....while it started as a large penis board, it's quickly grown into a much more interesting forum. Yeah there is still a lot of sex/penis related stuff, but the most interesting topics are usually not sex related.

Not sex related? Remove our testosterone and the board will turn into One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and we'll all sit around like we've had frontal lobotomies.

I wonder who our Nurse Cratchit would be?

Inwood: I think I would compare keeping on topic to be as hard as herding cats.

Anyway, since this thread seems so pitifully empty of what it's suppose to contain that I would show some pity and make some comment that might can be taken as a positive.

I think the choice of Powell to head State was a good thing.

Powell's appointment was a stroke of genius, Inwood. The man is a born leader and he has compassion, tact and intestinal fortitude.

He may never run for president, though. That's the world's loss.

Javierdude22: Exactly Pecker. In some weird way you can see integrity and care all over his face. Don't know how to explain that.

I seriously wish that he would run for President though. I knowe he might never win, but even if it's just to make a statement, or to make a lotta people sweat. I think he might even come close.

Condoleeza Rice scares the shit outta me though.....

Oh no no no, Powell would win in a second. I have heard from people ALL OVER the political spectrum talking about how they would vote him in in a second. Problem is that he would be the first "black" president. From what I hear, that worries his wife. Powell would definately be in danger, and she doesn't want her husband asassinated. I'm sure there are other reasons as to why Powell won't run.

longtimelurker: I second the wife notion - I have read a couple of interviews that have given that as the prime reason that he is not expected to stand. I think that it is more due to him wanting to have time with his family rather than having to sell them out to head the nation instead rather than assassination fears.

It is a pity, as I think that Powell could do for the Republicans what Blair has done for Labour here.

Oh and Ms. Rice - anyone see that cartoon in some US paper (can't remember which) about how 'if we got her a boyfriend then maybe she wont hate the world so much?' :D
