I realise there are quite a few similar posts on this subject already, so I'll apologise in advance for repeating. But after looking through them, there was nothing quite what I was after, so thought I'd start a new one.

I'm looking to try some new type of underwear but haven't been able to find something I think will work. As I'm a farmer and wear tight-fitting country/cowboy style jeans (eg Wranglers) and often spend a lot of my day on a quad bike, I need something that holds my dick up against my stomach and lifts my balls out of the way. Currently I mostly wear normal briefs, but I find that my dick and balls are too big for them and they often fall out.

I have tried boxer briefs for more room, but find they don't have the support I'm looking for and my dick always slips around sideways against my leg.

So my question is, do you guys know of any underwear that might give me enough supportive but still leave enough room for my junk? Obvoiusly because I wear tighter-fitting jeans, underwear with a pouch that lets you hang "anatomically" won't work.

Interesting topic: I normally wear boxerbriefs, it's a good compromise between the tight feeling of briefs and the comfort of boxers.
Anyway, I think you should try jockstraps, I've been told they're very supportive (I can't find any, tho)
If you want you can send me a pvt mess so we can chat maybe on skype. Let me know! :)

Perhaps not much help to someone in OZ, but I recently discovered this new line on the Tesco website. So far they are not available in our local store.
As you will gather from my several reviews they are very comfortable, they have a good roomy front pouch that holds your stuff forward, and they are cheap, so if you don't like them, it is no great loss. They are unusually generously sized for supermarket underpants, so if you are a borderline size, try the smaller size first.
I am not a Tesco shareholder! In fact, I don't like the way Tesco is destroying small local businesses.

I used to wear boxer briefs but switched to boxers because I needed more room. I liked the feeling of hanging free, but a few months ago started needing more support. I started wearing boxer briefs with a pouch. Just enough support but feels like I'm wearing nothing.

I've tried all kinds of briefs that are commonly available, but never found the "perfect" pair. It wasn't an issue when I had jobs that required me to stand, but when I got a desk job, things changed. I hate when my dick falls down into my crotch in snug underwear and gets squished with my balls. I got frustrated, gave up, and switched to boxers.

Okay, having gone back and re-read your post, I think I understand your problem. I believe it's not a style issue, so much as a material issue.

I have many of the same problems as you, including falling out of the leg holes of traditional briefs. I tried every brand carried at the local WalMart, and then tried the same brands, but in boxerbriefs. Universally bad. They would stretch out after a very brief time, and my genitals would fall out of place.

So I tried other styles. Until I finally realized the problem...my mother had been wrong! Cotton was a terrible choice. The underwear always felt okay when I put it on, but by evening it had stretched out ridiculously, and no longer offered any support. It was the FABRIC!

Spandex.

That was the solution for me. It allows the fabric to have a stretch *and* recovery that 100% cotton just can not match.

What happens is that you put them on, and they'll feel snug but comfortable. You adjust yourself, and the spandex forms itself to your shape, holding you in that position. Higher spandex percentages feel better. And, by the end of the day, it's still holding you in position.

It's absolutely amazing.

As for styles, briefs *containing spandex* do work pretty well for me, but when I want some additional fabric between my legs I wear a Brazilian trunk. It's a kind of very short legged boxerbrief.
