WOW this thread hit home in a big way. This past holiday season I had to have my gallbladder removed. So glad I did because the pain of gallstones is one of the worst. Anyway it left me with 3 scars on my abdomen. Two smaller ones, not really noticeable and one a little larger. I have been using fade creams to lighten the scars and it has worked well enough on the little scars and ok on the bigger one. But I have been self conscious about taking off my shirt and exposing them. But reading on here that it's not a big deal and that others don't really care is a huge weight lifted. Thank you all so much.
