Survival of the fittest penii?

Taking Darwin's ideas, the "fittest penis" should be the one who does not get abandoned over generations but the one who is the fittest to continue and strenghten the human evolution.

Currently, average size is said to be the most common size of penii worldwide. Penii over 8in are only observed in a very small percentage of men if one consults the known/existing bell curves. Same holds for smaller than average dicks.

Thus my questions: is the average sized penis more successful over generations (advantages and why?) and will larger than average dicks less frequently be reproduced in new generations to come?

Haha right, that's where i want to go discussing: why the heck a very large member is so prominently in fashion these days in media and porn when it was not so in the past (big dicks were seen as evil things etc.)

I would think the test would be based on accurate information which is probably not there. But let me set up a scenario. Take the average penis size of say each country and compare it to the fertility rate of the same. Then you would collate the results to determine if there was a correlation between size and the fertility rate, all other things being accepted as equal for the moment. Since Darwinian thought is based on survival of the animal species as opposed to "pleasure, visual appeal, erotic quality, whatever" in a purely emotional or rational context that would seem to be the way of determining the correlation.

Probably overall the average dick size - which fits most holes perfectly - really stands for the most reproductive organ.

If we're talking about a good size to get the impregnation job done, I suspect that even the smallest can work as long as the semen gets dropped off inside (plus, a penis doesn't even have to enter a vagina for reproduction... some semen on a finger inserted can potentially be enough for conception). And perhaps, too long would make vaginal intercourse difficult or even impossible with some women. 90% of men are about 6.8" long or shorter, bone-pressed (according to that 3-study average chart), and I suspect that nearly all women can accommodate that length. So from a functional perspective, I don't see any the small ones getting selected out... and even big ones which might not fit in all women will definitely fit in some women, so those guys are likely to find a partner to successfully reproduce with too.

Some things I've read suggest that if a woman has an orgasm after the man has ejaculated, pregnancy is slightly more likely. If this is true, then perhaps a penis size which can make a woman have a vaginal orgasm is more likely to get selected. But, considering that many studies suggest that about 70% of woman don't have vaginal orgasms (but can have clitoral orgasms), then any size penis should do about the same. But for those 30% who can have a vaginal orgasm, are we talking G-spot or cul de sac? Shorter penises might be better than longer ones for G-spot orgasms. On the other hand, longer penises are better at getting deep enough for cul de sac orgasms. All in all, I bet size doesn't matter much for this either.

How about women's preferences on what gets them mentally excited more when it comes to penis length? Perhaps some women are more turned on by longer penises than average ones and are therefore more likely to want to have sex with those men and/or more likely to orgasm form sex with those men. That might cause a slight evolution towards longer penises. Nope. If you believe Darwin knew what he was talking about, by definition the average is very nearly the most desirable - IF - penis size is at all a determinant of reproductive frequency.
