Oops? Looks like that dumbass district attorney got it all wrong, eh Tri? Him and that fancy law degree, he don't know shit! Ahem.
Well, I read the link and it was about a possible felony battery charge, which I would agree with him on. I was just talking about maybe a civil matter? Just Johnny getting Danny to pay for his new teeth... that is all that can ever come from this case, 'cause I would agree with you when you mentioned the fact that Danny didn't keep on beating him when he was down and sort of crawling on the floor before he got up and ran away (was that one whole sentence? -20 for punctuation!)
Felony Battery usually involves some real involved physical punishment...
I don't think Danny knew that he was gonna bust Johnny's mouth all up, he probably had no idea what kind of damage he had done until someone told him later on. He just kind of hoisted him as hard as he could, Johnny is sooooo light!!!!!
So... maybe I wasn't clear in the fact that I just saw it as a simple "civil" matter...
It's all good Burns, I don't wanna get on your bad side, I agree with a lot of what you said, you are a VERY intelligent man... it seems that Eva has some real law experience, she kind of made me freeze in my tracks and examine my position on the matter...
What I can say is that that little Johnny guy made me wince when he just touched Danny on the shoulder (let alone jumping on him and humping him like a rabid dog), I can spot a potential aggressor, and Danny was like a ticking time bomb... that Johnny dude is an IDIOT for sure...
He even probably deserved some comeuppance, seeing how he faked his grandmother's death or something and is generally the guy that just pisses everybody off and makes people want to punch him in the face.
So, I guess my position is a lot more moderate on this matter when you get down to it.
I sure as hell wouldn't have done what Johnny did, that's for sure
