So I'm watching Survivor tonight and they show the guys walking in their briefs and if they have any sort of package it's blurred out. What's tv coming to? I guess if the girls get their tops wet we'll only see them from the neck up.

On the opening blurb, they show one guy with red tighties on, but he doesn't have any bulge at all and they don't blur it out. Hmmm

Perhaps on the first day of shooting, they are truly dropped off there before they've had a chance to check-in to their hotel rooms and get access to their clothes

It is significant that they have not discussed drinking water at all. When camping, this would really be job #1. I suspect there is a huge barrel of fresh water at each camp.

In the first Survivors toilets were an issue, but no longer, and I'm sure they now have clean water provided as well as food supplements. Sometimes I notice freshly-laundered clothes. You have to remember that there are camera and sound crews all over the place all the time who require adequate facilities. Survivor was an interesting concept at first, but it has become increasingly staged and sanitized, as has Big Brother. They've taken all the fun out of it.

It's amazing how stupid people can be even though Shanon was a dick he was one of the most physically able people on the tribe they should be looking to maintain a certain strength and not underestimate the older tribes abilities. I totally agree he was being a dick but it was that fight or flight reaction, surely he knew he was in danger of leaving or he never would have done that. I reminds me of Andrew on Big Brother.

What is interesting is that in his opening statement, Shannon really placed the focus on how the other guy (chase ?) had betrayed both camps as a double agent. Had he stopped there, he might have succeeded in getting both camps to vote for chase.

But he kept his mouth going, going into foul mode, and as a result he got voted out.

not positive about this but was not CBS the one that got the big fine and all the flack after Justin and Janet with there "wardrobe malfunction".

Janet's nip slip was aired by CBS and the network was fined $550,000 by the FCC. CBS appealed and a Federal Court vacated the judgment. (I didn't think a fleeting glimpse of Miss Jackson's tit was worth a half mill, either. Now if it were JT's dick, that another story.)

And, BTW, Shannon says he ain't no sexist or homophobe ..... (The bitch does protest too much.)

I think the show is on its last few seasons. The show makes me feel like I am becoming more stupid as I watch it. The whole yound vs old has been done too many times with the older crowd losing. UGh! also, the whole way they treated that poor women with one leg! WOW! Thier really is a special kind of hell for the producer of Survivor for allowing NaWACkJOB to treat her that way and also to think it was OK to do that? Can we say GHETTO CRACK WHORE? I know she was not looking for special treatment. But, it really shows how low they are getting to bring in someone with a disablity for rest of players to beat up on and threat like shit for ratings. YEA! I am pretty much finished with that show.

The actors may not get paid, but they get a free vacation in a dream resort once they've been voted out. (And for all we know, they may go back to their hotel rooms every night now.) But I think the first couple of seasons, the "survival" aspect was more real.

So I don't feel bad for them. It would have been nice to see the one legged lady manage to vote out the nasty black one. But she had to expect to be a target for a vote.

BTW, how do guys maintain their "clean unshaven" look ? Chase for instance. Is there a way to shave one's face to leave some beard instead of shaving it down to the skin ?

In the context of Survivor, how would the Chase fellow manage to keep his beard/stubble constant between episodes/days ?
