gigantikok: Well, just saw the first episode. I think it's going to be an interesting season. Comments? Already making assumptions as to who will last long or even win? Who do you like? Who do you dislike? Any survivor themed chat is welcome. :)

inquiringmind: Hi,
It was great way to spend the black out. I was LOL at the first eviction. HELLO! how stupid could you be? I guess she never learned rule #1," A dog who wil bring a bone will carry a bone! " Why would you then when caught in your lie try to make the other person think it was their problem? Well, I guess it is her problem now! No million for you, honey!

p.s. the girl that she wanted to get off was a pain, but she should have kept it to herself.

gigantikok: Yea, that girl Nicole would have NEVER got voted off if she didn't stick her foot in her mouth like that. She was SO incredibley stupid, that she wouldn't have lasted long in the game anyway! I mean sheesh, I thought Ryan was a shoe-in, and suddenly this girl comes out of no where and practically does herself in. Neat episode.

All I can say is that if the show was aired in Europe, they would have shown the nudity. The girls need to get nude like in the last one. Other than that, I am bored by it already. They need to put them on an island with cannibals or something and have the tribe get picked off one by one.

Not necessarily - some European countries can still be quite prudish, ya know! But seriously, a lot of US shows do seem to have some phobia of showing any naked flesh (Jackass springs very much to mind). It is very bizarre that producers are fine about showing some really gross stuff like in Saving Private Ryan, but go all coy as soon as you see someone's bum...

Survivor never really took off here for some reason. It was going to be ITV's answer to Big Brother, but they never managed to get the ratings, so I don't think we're going to be due another series - we're just stuck with yet more Pop Idol <yawn>

Wait, you mean to tell me the girls got nude in the last season of Survivor? I am assuming they censored it though. Either way, too bad I missed it. This season it's just a bunch of naked guys.

sammygirly: Uh huh the girls got nude for chocolate and peanut butter last year as well as having some interesting bathing moments.

I'm a BIG fan of 'Blackbeard' or Rupert I believe his name is. I'm so excited that Survivor has started again!

I'm such a junky

gigantikok: Who wouldn't be a fan of Rupert? He just seems like a cool guy, he seems to have the most personality out of all of them. The rest of them all kinda seem the same to me. Young to middle aged, preppy business men. Nah, Rupert's dah bomb. Hope he wins.

I think it should be on cable with all the nudity and fighting.. Maybe show some of the sex in night vision to boost the ratings.

Oh, I know not all the european countries have nudity on T.V., but they are alot more open that here.

Ill give you that. If HBO took on Survivor somehow, it would definately become more riske. Dunno if I really CARE about seeing sex or nudity. If I am ever in the mood for that, Ill turn to porn, not reality tv.

gigantikok: This is a really awesome season. I havent seen all of the Survivor seasons, so I can't claim it is the best, but it is definately one of the most exciting. The people are really interesting too. The boring ones already got voted off. I like Rupert, I like Savage, I like alot of them. It's interesting to see what will happen at the merge.

sammygirly: Well, I have seen all the seasons...but um, my gym time keeps interfering with this one so I haven't seen as many episodes as I'd like to say :(

I'm rearranging my training time though so that I'm home! I can't miss Survivor. I've heard from a few people that this season is a winner too.....I was most fond of the Australian season myself.

H8Monga: Let's see... where have they been now? Survivor 1: Pulau Tiga, Survivor 2: The Australian Outback, Survivor 3: Africa, Survivor 4: Marquesas, Survivor 5: Thailand, Survivor 6: The Amazon... I loved the first one and didn't think they could top it. I lost interest in Survivor by the time they introduced the second season. The second season to me had too many people who weren't that ordinary but had that "tv look"... kinda like they got a hint from Baywatch or something. I watched perhaps the first show from each and that was it until this season. I had no interest or intent to watch this Survivor and due to Isabel we missed the first show. However, our CBS affiliate reran the show the day (overnight) the second show aired and by then we had gotten the power back. I managed to catch it and liked the pirate theme. I've been watching each episode. I don't have any favorites. This must be the Year of the Pirate... (as I was going to post some weeks ago), you had the RIAA and MPAA cracking down on online pirates, you had Pirates of the Caribbean, those pirates that showed up here, and then the new Surivior. Weird.

Also, I've noticed there are usually two black people on the show one male one female and they're usually on the same tribe... is the network hoping for a spicy relationship?

And a note for LPSG sake, the guys don't seem to be small either... ... been here too long...

Really? How can you tell??? I mean, there was one moment that the guys got naked during a challenge, but that was all censored out...

Oh, and Sammy, I've missed 2 or 3 episodes myself, but I figured out a solution. I signed onto a file sharing program (Kazaa) and downloaded all the episodes I missed! It really works and they are full episodes! It's really neat for all you Survivor fans with busy lives. :)
