I'm pissed off though that he did win one-hundred-thousand dollars! It's a sad situation when some multi-faced asshole lies, cheats and steals.

I could have sworn I heard it during one of the solo interviews during the show. Hell I might be wrong, I'm not really finding anything on the internet saying he is. I don't know where I picked it up then.

I knew Natalie was going to win when the jury talked to them and Mick was such a douche with his answers and Russell kept justifying being bad. the worst of Russell came out after when he kept insisting he should have won and then Monday on the morning show on CBS he was still angry and he showed to be a bad loser. He was the sexiest though. The most fun would be to see Russell and Natalie going at it on the studio floor.
"Playing the game" requires that you get the jury members to vote for you. Russel may have "played A game" , he didn't play "THE" game.
It is pretty ovbious that he was chosen/planted in there by the producers who knew what he would be doing. The emptying of water and burning of socks early on had absolutely no tactical advantage since it weakened his tribe raising odds of that he or others would get voted out. And if he had gotten caught, he would have been out right away. Looks to me like this was grand standing to attract media attention to himself and build his TV image of a mean guy.
Don't know about you, but Russell should have been voted out after that incident early on.
Remember that much of this show is staged.

Exactly. To be the Sole Survivor you need a great mental, physical, and social game. One of those Russ lacked and Nat didn't. Nat alligned with Russ, wasn't dominating challenges to be considered a threat (physical), and she was friends with the enemies (social).

I am so pissed that Russell didn't win, what a bunch of bitter bitches they all were. He has been the best player all season. At least he won the viewer award (the $100 thou).
Whoever mentioned about the weight of the contestants are right! Their faces all looked so round! And that top was not doing Russell any favours, it was just about popping off!

I only watched a couple of episodes of last season because I didn't like Russell. Not for his game play, but because he was supposedly a millionaire (did he need the money? if not, did he ever mention possibly donating it to a charity?) and what really did it for me was him lying about being a fireman. Sorry, but that's one thing I really detest, people pretending to be firemen, police officers or military. It's just too much. However, given the cast list, I will watch this season especially for Tom Westman (my all-time favorite), Colby, JT, and even Boston Rob.

I am anxious to see how much skin Tyson will be able to show before they break out the blur machine.

I swear I heard him say it in a private interview during the show, even my sister in law and her daughter both heard it too. I thought I was imagining it but asked them at dinner and they both said they heard it too. I can see how it was missed because it was one of those 15 or 30 second spots where they have the castaway speak on camera away from the rest of the group.
I assume it's during the reunion episode. I'll keep watch Similar threads
