I only use 4 letter words sparingly in familiar settings with coworkers and friends. I censor myself in public. Most common word that I use? Fuck as in: That's fucked up! I dislike hearing someone overuse the fuck word in public. It screams ATTENTION WHORE.

I swear like a sailor..I wish I could break the habit but I can't seem to. I get absolutely livid though, when people swear in front of my children. That's just wrong.
Swearing between consenting adults..no biggie.

Words that are off limits: cunt and twat

What do you think of people that swear?

Depends on the context and the place where swear words are used. I think of people that swear as passionate...funny... to insulting.

Do you swear?

Yeah. For humor and/or for peppering up a scene. Sometimes I swear as a creative exercise.

If so,what word do you use most?

Motherfucker. Beyotch. Cunt.

What word if any, do you find offensive?

Well, any swear word can be offensive in the context or when and where you use swear words. So any of them could be. But a brave soul that dare use a swear word that is degrading to me towards me, I can recycle it, augment it, subtract it, multiply it, pack it in a muzzle and AK47 them swear words back at them. Some people give a lot of power to words than they need to though. So swear words are just silly words. Static. Noise. Jibber Jabber.

It depends on who's company I'm in except when I'm driving and it's a case of cover your ears.

Last time my parents were visiting we were out in the car and someone cut me up. I just let rip forgetting they were in the back. There was a silence followed by laughter.

Some Spanish swear words are making their way into my vocabulary which is useful when my Brit friends come to stay. :biggrin1:
