I often wear sweatpants while commando.
I do wear boxer briefs underneath when I leave the house though because my erections are at a 45 degree angle (instead of pointing straight up) and so I've had no hope in hell of hiding one if I got one in a store and didn't have underwear to hold it in place.

I've noticed that wearing boxers under basketball shorts is really popular now with guys here at the local college campuses. Just walking around a campus can reveal a lot about a guy's anatomy. I don't know why one would want to wear anything under basketball shorts other than maybe a jockstrap. I personally go everywhere in my basketball shorts, and never wear anything under them. I thought they were designed so that everything felt loose. I must admit, that every time some guy walks by me in basketball shorts or in sweatpants, I have to catch a look to see what they are packing.
I think they were probably intended to be worn with boxer briefs or compression shorts. For whatever reason, there is an aweful lot of flopping going on...and I think a few years ago it would have been viewed as more risque. Maybe folks have just become desensitized to bouncing wangs on the street...:wink:

I noticed this a few years ago, and had to get in on it. Boxers feel great with mesh shorts, and guys look hot with their dick outlines showing through the shiny fabric. I dress this way all the time that I'm not working. I used to be self-conscious about my dick showing when I went shopping, but not any more.
