Swing Richards Strip Club

I JUST left Atlanta yesterday... totally forgot to hit up Swinging Richards! Shoot!

Never been to Swinging Richards or any of the other spots mentioned, but I did go to the Gaiety in NY once. It was a lot like the Stock Bar.
The Gaiety was really a gay porn theatre. At scheduled times they would stop the movies and live male strippers would take the stage. There were usually 5 or 6 dancers. Each guy would do a 3 song set solo. The 1st song they would strip down to a jock or g string. The 2nd song they got naked then go back stage and fluff themselves up and come back on stage naked and hard for a 3rd song. After each guy had done his solo set there was a finale with all the dancers being reintroduced and coming back on stage naked and hard for one last song. A lot of the guys were chorus dancers from Broadway productions and were pretty good dancers. After the finale the guys would get dressed and come out to a lounge area to "meet their fans". There wasn't any VIP room or private show areas in the theatre but there was an opportunity arrange a hookup at a nearby hotel. Denise, the woman that ran the place, liked to have "fresh meat" for the shows and would book guys from Montreal clubs and other cities for the shows. Me and a buddy from the Nob Hill in San Fran made a trip to NYC and did a gig at the Gaiety in th 80's. The Gaiety was a causality of Guilianni's Times Sq. clean up and is closed now. Too bad.

Atlanta do have other clubs....BJ Roosters, In The Cut (Big Black and Latino Dicks) on Thursday and Sunday nights, Bliss to name a few...they are all a one mile radius!

Swinging Richards is tired and either hit or miss...

I wish we had more male entertainment clubs here...

You're lucky. The one we had here in Baltimore was closed down many years ago, and now I have to drive 45 min. to an hour to Secrets in D.C.

I went to Bliss for the first time when I was in ATL last month. It was great, and a little more "upscale" than SR. I've been to BJ's several times and it was just meh. There are some pretty hot guys there, though.

I went to Swinging Richards last night. It was a slower night so it wasn't very crowded. The first few dancers on stage weren't anything to write home about, but then the guys seemed to get hotter the later it go. Because it was slow, they were working hard for the tips. I must have had 5 or 6 different lapdances from the hotter guys. I just did the $10 table dance at the table and while in the past, you've had to keep your hands off them. I didn't touch their cocks but was able to put my hands all over everywhere else. They ground against the hard on in my pants. Definitely got more for my money. I did "touch the goods" a few times, either inadvertently when they were on my lap, or they put their junk on me.

One guy ground against me and he had a big uncut penis. He began to get a little hard. Not full on, but he grew and I could feel it stiffen - he ground it against my chest so it was inches from my face. The guys were polite and friendly.

It was $3 to park, and $5 cover to get in. Drinks were $8.

Yeah, Swinging Richards is kind of tired indeed. They seem to lack a true variety of quality dancers especially the ones of color. I went for the second time last summer and was so unimpressed. Also get annoyed by the fact that some of them were obnoxious about going to the V.I.P. If I didn't want to go the first time then don't keep bugging me about it.

Next time I go out to a strip club, I am going to hit BJ Roosters and In the Cut.

Yea In The Cut on Sundays is awesome and it's always nice and pack. I always do the VIP (even though it's ratchet...lol) because they do provide all you can drink which isn't bad considering...

BJ's is low key prejudice. The other clubs are nice but it's different when you actually live here and have been to the club so many times..lol

Was at Swinging Richards in So. Florida last weekend. Really good time, nice club, very clean, beautiful men, and the VIP section is worth every dollar. My dancer was a youngish shorter guy named something like Keieren. He shot a huge load for me. Hot.

Not all that mainstream here; so what happens in the "booth's", they j/o live while you watch?

The Gaiety was open from late 1975 to March 17th 2005. Madonna's famous 1992 coffee table book Sex contained many pictures taken in the Gaiety and of the Gaiety dancers. In fact there were pictures from that photo shoot posted on the wall in lounge.

Joey Stefano danced at the Gaiety in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was one of the more famous Gaiety dancers. Some of the porn stars and notable entertainers that have danced at the Gaiety: Will Clark, Billy Brandt, Chris Williams, Christian Fox, Gianfranco, Carlos Morales, Rod Barry, Jason Adonis, Tristan Adonis, Hunter James, Jon Ramsey, Mark Dalton, Johnny Harden, Kip Knoll, Leo Ford and Adam Champ.[6] Angelo Garcia, a former member of famed Puerto Rican boy band Menudo also briefly worked as a dancer at the Gaiety.

From the mid 90's to it's closing in 2005 heavy security was enforced as to not allow any kind of sexual activities to occur.

Monday - Thursday the Gaiety opened at 1:00p you got to see a moive before the 5-6 dancers began dancing at 130p, 330p, 600p, 830p, 1030p the dancers had 15min segments and then were free to meet with customers at first in backroom but later at local hotels.

On Friday and Saturday there was normal shows at 130 and 330. Then at 600p,830p and 1115p they had 14-20 dancers dancing 15min routines.

On Sunday usually was the change of dancers for the week Gaiety did not open till 300p so the 130p show was not on.

I spent many a days and nights at the gaiety checking out the guys and watching the shows. I would then head one block up to Stella's the "Hustler Bar" as it was known. I traveled a lot with a friend of mine who was very much into the go-go boys, Hustler trade and male escorts, getting to meet they guys in there enviorment getting to know the guys. Part of my life that I enjoyed very much.

I used to often walk past the entrance to the Gaiety (a rather small and shabby looking entrance) when I visited New York in the late 90s and early 00s, and always wanted to go in but was never bold enough to do so. Then eventually I went back and it was gone and something new had been built there. I'm sorry I missed it.
