Thanks @LaFemme, oooh, fantastic thread and interesting questions.

1. The people. We're an easy going bunch who don't take anything too seriously, least of all ourselves. (Plus, we're a stones throw away from the home of Guinness and Jameson)

2. (Any food allergies or dislikes?) I travel and trying new foods, so I'm wondering what to do. I can do a few Italian dishes (chilli prawn linguine, ...), a few French dishes (Dorade au gros sel, Poulet à la bretonne, ...) but tbh we've got really good quality ingredients here (did I mention stuff grows everywhere?), so if you were coming to visit it could even be something as simple as steak (all our cows are grass fed) or wild salmon... Or I might just fake it and order in from the nearest Michelin Star restaurant...)
