You should never make it a point to specify a particular gender needs to “stop hitting on you”. Public figures get hit on by tons of random different types of people all the time. Almost none of them make it a point to tell a specific gender to stop. Harrassment is a very different thing.
While anyone who’s paid attention knows this guy has likely had multiple boyfriends, and he’s been semi “exposed” a couple of times for indulging queerness. So, no matter his sexuality, sexual journey, current lifestyle, where he is in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum- it’s apparent that the call for guys to stop hitting on him was likely driven by insecurities and shame. He also came across like he was being arrogant and belittling and viewing himself as “god’s gift”. I will say that I don’t hold that much against him since he was particularly young and was/is dealing with some stuff.
