I watched a latest news break on "Euro News" about Taiwan being the First Asian country, legalizing marriage amongst same gender members. Does any one have the full story? Please enlighten us: Pictures, insides, young people responses, any celebration outburst from rejoicing boys and girls?.

Go to this website, and type in China, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. You'll find that Taiwan stands out on its score for Indulgence vs. Restraint—at least compared to other cultures in Asia. That aspect of culture concerns your willingness to embrace pleasure without hesitation. The score isn't as high as NW Europe or North America, but it's getting there.
