Has anyone heard of this or done this? I found this on another site

Viagra Daily Treatement

I haven't done this myself yet but judging from medical studies in recent years it looks pretty promising.

Here is a link to the study:

New Viagra Study - Health News Story - WJAC Johnstown

Basically the idea is to take Viagra regularly everynight before bed. For at least 3 months for the effects to be permanent. Studies over the years have confirmed that men with mild ED who took Viagra prior to sleep each night for 3-6 months found they were cured of ED, they no longer needed to take Viagra, the blood flow improvement was permanent and they regained spontaneous erections. Apparently Viaga also works well even for men with more servere forms of ED. I believe regularly use of Cialis can have the same results as well. I think this Viagra/Cialis routine is worth a try for sure.

Well I hope this thread is of some use and like I said if you have any other ideas I am all ears. I have had mild ED for around 4 years but my goal to get my erection quality back as best as I can naturally.

Thanks

Does anyone think this could work?

that is a 2004 report, wonder what has been learned in the last 6 yrs.

I have mild ED. I get about 80%-90% hard, my cock is really thick, I have to be rock hard to penetrate my wife. I started taking Viagra 50mg. it didn't seem to work that well, so I took another 50mg pill. when it kicked in, bingo, maximum erection. we made love, wife was thrilled. I noticed when I came, I couldn't really feel it, and remained hard for another 10 minutes. it was wee morning hours, so we drifted to sleep, a half hour later I was rock hard and ready again. and gave the wife a nice orgasm before cumming again. sleep followed, got up and fixed breakfast, had a little of the blue tint thing going on. about 12 hours later, after doing some work around the house, I showered, and out of nowhere got a massive boner. I walked upstairs and showed the wife, she asked if I took another pill, I said no. she said, never no mine, she wanted more, promptly went to the bedroom, dropped her clothes and spread her legs. I got the job done, 2 orgasms in 24 hrs had not happened for her for awhile. so I got a "free" boner about 16 hrs after I took my first Viagra. this also happened one other time, about 24 hrs after taking 100mg, and doing the wife. I was out with my male friends in a bar, and the one barmaid, much my junior, likes me, we talk a lot, and she got flirty with me, gave me a big hug, and my cock just started swelling, like it did if I was 20 again(I'm late 50's). I had quite a chub, she glanced and gave me a wink. I think she was testing to see if the old furnace was still running. if I was 20 yrs younger I would let her out of bed for a week!!!

the only drawback to this plan, is it would be pretty expensive.

Just had my first experience with not being able to stay rock hard. I'm going to look into getting a pill and try again. Of course, it could have been anxiety. It was first time with someone I didn't know that well. Still a good time, but concerned.

I have used the orals in the past, but I have a few theories regarding the orals that I would like to try and prove out one way or the other.

The interesting thing is that the makers of Cialis made a modification and introduced a daily version so that you can always be "ready". Medical science has discovered that the big three (viagra, cialis, levitra) have beneficial effects on coronary artieries opening them up.

Remember that the original disclaimers were written when these products were introduced many years go. It is an FDA requirement that they say "no cure". The reason for this is for legal purposes and because they have not paid for or funded studies to show the long term potential for positive benefits. In the Pharmaceutical industry this is standard operating practice.

Many years later some studies are beginning to show that there are benefits in some areas with the use of these drugs.

Some MD's are beginning to give Rx's for these products for other things simply because they apparently have other benefits.

Just a Footnote:

In using my injectable, I found that when I was using it very regularly because of willingness on the part of my sex partner that my erectile ability without the shots had improved over time. When I was given the original Rx's by Boston Medical I was told that in some cases the use of the injectable had given a small percentage of patients a percentage of reversal of their condition. A few had reversed their ED over time 100% by using the medications, but there was no guarantee of this. It periodically did happen but was not the rule. Many showed some improvement.

If this is the case, why wouldn't it be possible for an oral to have some positive benefits as well.

Take a pill a day for 90 days.
Then you don't need any more pills.

That means the drug company only gets to sell you 90 pills and then doesn't make any more money from you.

And this report is 6 years old and you wonder what has been done in the past 6 years with this information.

If I were the president of Pfizer, I would take Viagra for 3 months and not tell a soul.
Let them buy pills!
Let them buy lots of pills.

viagra was originally developed as a BP med, the side effect was woodys. so they changed the marketing stategy.

any of you viagra/or other ED meds users get a "free" erection hours after you have taken the pill? like I reported above? I like that, that's the way it should be and used to be. I never had any problem getting it up in my whole life until recently. it was something I took for granted and really so did my wife. if we got in the mood, I was bone hard in a minute.

I have an ample supply of some generic viagra that I got from overseas, and it works, and seems like the real deal. I mean it works, and i get the blue tint side effect, so I am assuming it really is viagra, only generic. I took 50 mg saturday nite, with the understanding my wife was in the mood, well, I had 2 beers earlier, and was asleep when the wife came to bed apparently, she did not wake me up. about 5 am I woke up, and after a couple minutes was bone hard, so I spooned her with my boner poking her, and she mumbled, let me sleep. so that was wasted. and then last nite, after reading this I took 50 mg, and went to bed. woke up with nothing. so maybe I'll try taking 50 mg before bed for a week, just to see what happens. it would be great to be able to cure ED, get the spontaneity back like I was used to.

pitbull, u mean most likely it wont work correcT?

No, not correct.

What I am saying is that if it might work, there is a great financial disincentive for the drug company (in this case Pfizer) to pursue research.

If a 60 year old man can "cure" his ED by a pill a day for 90 days then he stops buying pills.
Total Sale = 90 pills.

If that same 60 year old man takes one pill 3 times a week to have sex.
That would be 150 pills a year.
If he does this for 10 years
Total Sale =1,500 pills

I was able to find sales figures for 2004
Viagra Sales worldwide about 2 Billion.
(similar drugs Cialis etc about another 1 Billion)

If a patient could could cure his ED he would save a lot of money
(and Pfizer would lose a lot of money)

having taken viagra for fun a couple of times, I would definitely think it would work. Although I don't think I'd want to take it before bed. i would be way too scared that I'd have one of those "erections lasting longer than 4 hrs should seek medical help" and not know it bc i'd be asleep.

Folks, this has nothing to do with how much money the drug makers want to get out of the drug.

It DOES have everything to do with how the drug functions. According to Wikipedia, it prevents breakdown of some enzyme that does something that results in your dick getting hard. It doesn't sound like it stimulates your body to produce the needed compound, it merely supplies a replacement source.

From that I say: no, I don't see how taking it for a month is going to fix anything.

3 Billion a year in ED drugs and you don't thinks money is a factor?
Think again.

The idea is that the drug stimulates blood flow to the penis and if taken daily over a period of 3 months that it would result in permanent improvement in blood flow

Are you saying that this is true? I'm confused a bit with your wording. Thank you.

No.
I am saying this is the theory.

I just wrote that my only knowledge of this is from the article you referenced in the first post in this thread.

And what you referenced was a report from a television station, which should not be considered as a scientific study by anyone.

took 50 mg before going to bed last nite(nite #2), woke up at about 5 am, couldn't sleep anymore after 5 1/2 hours of sleep, not unusual for me. had quite a chub, within a few minutes I was bone hard. the wife was sound asleep, so I eventually drifted off to sleep. so tonite I will take another 50 mg. I'll try this for awhile. I would think after 2 wks I will be able to tell some difference, mabe not.
