Why is it that the self-proclaimed Leader of the Free World (the USA) continues to deny gays the right to marry when other countries, many considered to be 3rd world, and those considered to be controlled by bigoted religions are granting these rights seemingly on a daily basis?
We are similarly situated when it comes to allowing gays to serve openly in our military.
How long, America, how much longer?

Not that this isn't fabulous news, AFB, but Tasmania is a state in the Commonwealth of Australia. Personally, I'd have guessed NSW would be first down under.

As such, its importance ranks with the recognition of marriage equality in Massachusetts, Iowa, et al.

I heard Warner Bros. Tasmanian Devil finally announced he is gay and planning on getting hitched with Bugs Bunny. That Bugs. He always looked good in a sarong and open-toed heels -- and what a piece of tail!

However, in another AP piece it was announced that Sarah Palin showed up at the recent National Rifle Association Conference and endorsed Elmer Fudd as a candidate for the Association's president. At least he couldn't be worse that Charlton Heston.
