yes the elections are coming yes yes. there will be more promises. more snoring party political snooze casts. the swingometer will be dusted down. the electioneers out of retirement. the pollsters making themselves annoying outside every supermarket. but there is light. yes a brighter note. the WHAT IF SYNDROME. what if the scottish nationalist party were to send candidates to english seats. and what if they won ?. yes westminster refurbished in new tartan seats was to be closed and moved to holyrood . after all parking is a premium in that area. and no expenses paid either its your own fault you live miles away. english people had to speak proper [scots]. jamie bloody oliver was shot and a scottish diet made compulsory over the uk. [deep fried everything added sugar extra salt and cream ] kilts to be worn on sundays. all shop names to be prefixed with mac with the exemption of macdonalds who will be sent packing[ trying to be healthy eating now] and all money will be scots. bank of england renamed maybe royal bank of scotland sounds nice. and this would be done in the first week. if you have any more ideas to tartanise the uk please post. aww rite an that

I think you're a wee bit remiss there to be neglecting to specify which tartan should be used. I argue the tartan should be pleasant to the eye, flexible, and easy-to-clean. To that end I propose that the Clan Baird tartan be used.

As these models right off the Edinburgh runway show, the ancient Baird tartan is flexible! You can use it for clothing or for decorating your den (and quite tastefully too!).

I'm sure all the lassies will be eyeing this fine buck as he models the modern Baird tartan with its rich blue and heather. Soon all the young men of Britain will be dressing exactly the same way and won't that be better than the sweatsuits the Chavs favor?

For formal occasions the dress plaid is suitable for every occasion after 6pm for both men and women. It's dashing and the splash of white livens the otherwise dour mood of formalwear.

Nice idea by the way big man

Just one question. Where would all the extra money come from that would be needed to keep the National Health Service afloat due to the change in diet? Or, are you planning on killing everyone off earlier to solve the Pension funds shortfalls?

some of you can see right through my little plans. if smokers have two hands smoke two at a time. a Scottish diet is a healthy diet if it doesn't have cream on it fat in it salt on it or sugar in it or not fried IT'S NOT FOOD. and that's the food that has taste
