Seems like the best place to ask this...

I want to get a cam and am ignorant of the whole process

    Any recommendations:

    Equipment
    Software
    Service (MSN Yahoo etc)

Advice on what to avoid and most common mistakes appreciated too.

    Thanks

    I also have a Logitech camera P.B.and I haven't had any problems
at all with using it. Mine is the Orbitec AF 5000 Quik cam and I really like the ease
in which I was able to install and use it.
This model hs a long stem/stand you can use to have a 180 degrees view of the room your in.
Especially good for viewing/recording sex in your bed!

I just ordered a Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000. It broadcasts in HD, and I paid around $35 for it. Video mode is 1024 for cam broadcasts, 30 frames per second, USB 2.0 data speeds... should work good.
Ill let ya'll know how it works out.
