Technical Question

Alright, I have a technology question. Since I don't belong to any other forums, I guessed that LPSG's Etc board would be a good place to seek advice.
I have a CD player that also picks up radio. The problem is, it doesn't get very good reception. I have heard about stickers that one can connect to a cell phone to boost it's reception. Would the same sticker work on my CD player? If not, is there some kind of similar device that does?

Those stickers (antenna 'boosters') don't work on cell phones. They certainly won't work on radios.

In a lot of those CD/Radio combos, your headphones (actually the headphone wire) also works as the antenna. Are you using it with the headphones/earplugs? If you've hooked it up to a set of speakers instead, you're spreaker wire might be too shielded.
