Only a state as idiotically liberal as Mass will go ahead and justify (and vote) Caroline Kennedy as senator... watch it unfold. Barney Frank??!! really?

I haven't heard anything about Caroline Kennedy going after Ted's seat. I've heard speculation about Robert, Jr., though.

Christ faceking. You're just pissed off to be pissed off. Does everything elicit a negative response from you?

Relax. Your blood pressure will improve.

Were it not for the Commonwealth of Masachusetts you'd still be speaking with an English accent.

They're talking about his widow taking his seat too.

I'm very relaxed (and tanned), kiddo. Kennedy:Helms. Both hacks and bozos that kept getting voted in. There... I picked on both sides of the aisle. A great deal of our immigration policy problems are largely due to that bozo, and the "commonwealthers" that saw the "Kennedy-D" on the ballot year-in/year-out.

I get enough of that RedSox superiority back home... turns out it was all a fraud... shocker. It's Massachusetts, by the way, AKA The Cradle of Liberty.

[i know it was a typo]

Seems you revere politicians a bit too much...

Condolences to the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick. If I may.....a few thoughts:

In forty years in the Senate, he accomplished nothing. He raised the minimum wage in 1981, and opened the floodgates for illegal immigration. That's about it. What a resume.

His MO in Washington: A blond in every pond

He was expelled twice from Harvard for cheating - once when he was caught cheating on a test, and once when he paid another student to take a test for him.

He once was caught driving 90 mph in a residential neighborhood, drunk, in Virginia, but his dad got him out of any problems

He got 4 reckless driving citations during grad school

While Mary Jo was drowning, he went back to the party, then walked to a hotel and went to sleep

Again, nothing accomplished in the Senate over 40 years.

Buy bye, Teddy.

The service, broadcast on CNN as "Remembering Ted" tonight, was absolutely wonderful. A very funny and very touching celebration of his life as told by friends, colleagues and family. He really was an incredible, loving, caring, complex man who will be much missed.

Agreed.

I was moved to tears on several occasions.

Yikes. Pathetic...your posts today reek of a Michael Jackson fan. No, really.

Don't worry... when you die, we promise not to obsess over it to such extreme levels.*

*Patiently waiting for someone to try and claim that this was a death threat. The intelligence level of some people is so low, you can just sense the rhetorical spin a mile away.

While Kennedy managed to swim free, she was trapped inside. Shamefully, inexplicably, Kennedy did not raise the alarm. He waited until the next day before contacting the cops.

Mary Jo is believed to have survived for some time in an air bubble. She could have been saved?

But Kennedy was more concerned about saving his own reputation. For hours he did nothing.

Fox news, hardly his support group noted his name was on 535 bills between 1973 and 2009, including family leave act, MLK holiday, the disability act. He was critical in the passage of the 64 civil rights act.

There are many more, but I am too tired, I will post them tomorrow.

when you die asshole, you will be remembered for about 5 minutes, he will be remembered for 200 years.
