The fact that it's still in a limbo and not already canceled yet gives some hope.
So Paramount debuted three YA shows right about the same time:
Wolf Pack,
School Spirits, and
Grease: The Rise of the Pink Ladies.
School Spirts was renewed with the writers' strike still ongoing. A clear show of confidence.
Pink Ladies was cancelled and removed from the service. Obviously no cofidence.
No news at all on
Wolf Pack. Seems to me that:
~ They are (or at least were) seriously considering renewing it. Or else it would have been cancelled along with
Pink Ladies.
~ They do not have as much confidence in it as
School Spirits, or else they would have renewed it at the same time.
So it's not a sure thing for sure. But I dont think it's doomed yet because the shows that are fully doomed are already cancelled.
I have wondered if it has anything to do with the fact that Gellar is an executive producer but still on strike.
