Last year's total solar eclipse made my top ten. The mountains had white bands of clouds blowing over them and gradually as the light faded, so too did the colour. My memories of the minutes during the eclipse are in black and white. The silence was unreal too, Everybody stopped what they where doing and birds went to ground. It was quite a powerful phenomena.
