Coming forward as a victim is so hard, convictions almost never happen and as someone who has experienced this before and come forward I'm sure she's aware of what a horrific battle this could be. While I agree that we should hear all of the facts before we demonize someone, her background gives her a lot of credibility and our focal point should be upon giving her (a reasonably assumed victim) as much support as possible.
