how about "couldn't care less" as opposed to "could care less" ! LOL
Great example, especially since the latter--and incorrect--usage seems to be more common when speaking depreciatively.
Neither is incorrect.
One has perfect surface sense.
The other has the sanction of idiom.

In childhood, when I sang Jingle Bells, I didn't know if it was
- a one-horse soap and sleigh, or
- a one-horse open sleigh
