    A very sad day.

I couldn't believe that some Pakistani Politician is trying to blame India  WTF?

Anyway, Pakistan does have a real War on Terror. At first sight the reaction of the Pakistani Forces during the attack, does not appear to have been that effective.

There were believed to be 12 attackers but none were caught?

Though with five of the police escort killed who would be left to respond effectively?

I am no expert in these things, but the attack seems to have been carried out with ease, at 09.00 in the centre of Lahore against a known target. Those whose lives have been taken seem not to have been properly prepared to deal with a known threat and MO (from Mumbai). My gut feel is that they hadn't taken the threat of something like this happening seriously enough.

I imagine that there will be considerable backlash from the people of Pakistan.

Who knows about the IPL, I hope not of course, but the security bill just got a whole lot bigger.

I guess the Pakistani team won't be playing any cricket games soon at home.

After the way Benazir Bhutto 'Bought It', i'm not surprised. I wish i could say i'm 'stunned' too. But in this era of constant terrorist activities, one just becomes numb.:frown1:

well, at this point what is clear is that a massive (170 million people) nuclear armed country, is totally out of control and fighting a massive internal islamic militant conflict that it is unprepared for and cannot stop even if it was prepared.

of course it is great that they let A.Q. Khan out of house arrest a week ago as well.

throw in the North Koreans and Iranians and nuclear holocaust is right around the corner.
