As SilverTip said, its a good thing they caught it in time.
I'd go with a bull sized pair. You already have a big dick, might as well set it off with a big ol pair of bull balls.
If I ever have to have mine removed, Im going big!

Not to put anyone down who has had cancer, don't wish it on anyone, but I can't help thinking of the implants as "bionic balls". I wonder if the 6 Million Dollar Man had them?

I've never been diagnosed with TC but I do have a question... Does the implant (s) hang low in the sac or are they high and tight?

Would any of you be willing to post some pics to show the comparison?

Hey guys, those of us who deal with this need to do a quick google search. it seems the french company that has produced the breast implants that have ruptured and caused trouble also produced and shipped world wide testicle implants. The article I read today said the number who received them is unknown.

that number is pretty small probably. but if any of you have a reason to wonder. check out the info and see if you need to check further. Not trying to start a worry stampede but it is something to be aware of.

Yes, please, I'd like to see a comparison too if anyone is interested in sharing, as well as pic's of any resulting scars. I have more than enough myself due to the many operations I've undergone, so please don't be shy about them...

Thanks for that update 1958ST. Do you know which of the companies is having issues with their implants? I googled, but without a company/brandname I'm getting no luck!

Hey Guys,

I had testicular cancer at an early age, and ended up losing my right testicle. I'm keen to have an implant (replacement), but wanted to get others opinions on this first on the following points:
1. Which ones are better?
2. What do they feel like?
3. Has anyone on here got one?
4. Complications

If anyone has any advice or suggestions or has any other questions I may have omitted...please feel free to comment or ask questions.

Thanks

omg I'm sorry but at least your still a live.

you can still produce semen with only one testicle right?

YW I thought I'd help someone out. I heard about it on the news but never really read much into why there was a recall of breast implants, never knew they made testicle implants as well. So I caught up on the news and provided some info.

Turkey, that is part of the reason I never got one. My surgeon 10 years ago had reservations and so advised against an implant when he removed oneof mine. As my left one had disappeared permanently into my groin when hit with a baseball at 19 I had gotten used to the idea of having one so I was ok with his recommendation. The dumb thing was waiting so long to get someone to find it and get it out since it could have gone cancerous years before.

Everyone who deals with this makes their own choices about implants. There are plenty of safe one, most, 999 of 1000, so if a person wanted one--great get it done. It is far more important that a guy gets checked out for cancer and gets whats needed done for a clean bill of health. After that match your comfort zone after checking in to all the options

Thanks 1958 & Turkey for your input...appreciate it!

I'm still in the beginning stages of looking into all of this, so gladly welcoming any advice that's offered.

Is there anybody out there who's keen to share a pic or 2 ...perhaps a before and after???

Thanks again,
g

I'm curious if the implant is tied down inside the scrotum, or is it simply placed inside to move around freely?
If I was ever in need of an implant, I would opt for the super sized model. :)

I have a friend who lost a testicle from torsion and just has one ball. He isn't self-conscious about it - we've played golf and showered together in the locker room and he says his orgasms are still the same. The seminal fluid comes from the Cowper's Gland (still intact) . . . it's just that he has half the sperm count. But he says that doesn't matter since he doesn't want children . . . just yet. He can still enjoy sex just as before.

Hey Old River,

Thanks for your reply. My Cowpers Gland's still intact, and my seminal output is fair to large. If I ever decided to have children (which I'm not intending to), then I'll have to cross the lowered sperm count at that point. Obviously, neither of these things are affected by an implant, but they're useful to know and consider. My interest in them is from an aesthetic perspective, as well as a psychological one.

Thanks again,
g

I was told I would have to pay for it, it wasn't covered by insurance. The cost a couple of years ago was $1600, which I didn't have. I was worried about how it would look.
Now, I can't tell which one was removed, looking in the mirror.

I have had to have a bilateral orchiectomy and opted for two semi solid AART silicone implants. The urologist asked me to come in one day to look at samples and the ultrasound measurements of mine from when they were healthy... We ended up having to pick custom sized "very" large ones as the normal sizes started at "way too small" and ended up somewhere around "medium-small".

Mostly I don't think about them now. You can see in my profile pics the after. I have a before shot somewhere, maybe I will post that one day. I also have some from post-removal but before the implants-- the two operations were about six months apart.

There is NOTHING more useless than an empty flappy scrotum. Sticks to your leg and sweats and has no reason to be there at all. It was weird to have so much trouble with them that they had to be removed, then relief, but weird when they and the pain were finally gone. Then it was weird with the flat bag... And weird again to have my new set installed.

I got used to them, but they are NOT like my originals. Cold, somewhat more firm and oh yeah, anyone who tries to rack me gets a big surprise!

Overall, given the circumstances, I'm ok with how it all turned out.

Is the implant soft, like a natural testicle I'm assuming? Just curious.
