I'm not sure about "supplements." Regardless of the delivery method, (oral, injectable, transdermal/gel) you could try something that delivers about 35mg/day. No, wait, that's not right... maybe it depends on if you are using testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate, or testosterone propionate... no, that's not right, either.

Never mind.

No, they aren't, which just proves the point I was making.

Edit: Your post asking for info about getting silicone injections in your cock in another thread shores up my thoughts on this... trust me, you and I will not get along if you advocate stuff like this in a support group.

they DONT work!!! if they did the Govt. and the FDA would ban them period!!! dont waste your money on it...

Some do, some dont.
The FDA already approves many Testosterone supplements, directly available from your MD.

Pills on the shelf of a supplement supermarket are always a risk. There isn't much regulation in the supplement world, therefore its best to go directly to your MD.

Rx Testosterone supplements DO increase your body's level of testosterone.

It does NOT however necessarily make your cock bigger.
Have there been cases of growth? Possibly, but I would not say that it was a direct effect of using the testosterone supplement.
In Fact, Too MUCH artificially added testosterone CAN make your teste's shrink. (Hence bodybuilders on steroids)

Androgel for example is an externally applied cream that transfers testosterone through your skin, and will boost your T-levels over time.

For folks with low testosterone like myself, they help out alot.
it isn't to become superman, or a super lover, It's to level your body chemicals out so you have a normal level of energy and strength, and to help your body adjust accordingly.

Ok tell more guys, What were the signs that you needed it?. I finaly went to doc and blood pulled, tester level was down to 230? They said that was low and scale was 200 to 800.

Been gettin injections that seem to be working, sex is way better and dick stands when cuties walk by as well as when my honey gets home!

I had tried all the suppliment stuff and while it helped a bit , it was nothing like the injections,

Is the jell you spoke of testos? They said if the body won't keep the level up after 12 weeks they would start me on a jell.

Also noted that I have put on 9 pounds and flabby has tightened up everywhere! Yip Pee

i wasent talking about "perscription drugs", rather these "snake oil", supplements that are touted to be "anabolic", or "testostorone", enhancers... the few supplements that did do that like Andro, norAndro etc. are now scheduled substances like steroids now...

if there really is a medical problem, you need to see a doctor. It might be Viagra that you really need.

Having said that, if your body is in overall run down condition, lots of stuff might help. Not because it raises testosterone but your over health is better. Everything from multiple vitamins to different supplements.

Keep in mind that just because supplements aren't prescription only that they aren't potent and can radically change things about you including changes that you don't want.

In general, I stay with supplements that a store like GNC or another reputable health store might carry.

Stuff bought off the Internet may truly be snake oil.

Low levels of testosterone in young guys isn't just an event. There is a cause behind it and it can be important to determine what it is. Unfortunately, that can be a complex hit-or-miss proposition. In the case that the testes are just not up to the job, supplementation/replacement is important.

In my case, my T levels dropped below 300 quite rapidly quite a number of years ago. This coincided with me developing a whole set of seemingly unrelated problems. I went on injections of tesosterone cypionate and they helped with libido and energy but not the other stuff. Twelve, yes twelve, years later I was diagnosed with chonic Lyme disease. Getting treated with long-term antibiotics cleared up most of my other diagnoses (asthma, arthritis, BPH, apnea, "vertigo of unkown etiology," apthous ulcers, angular stomatitis, chronic fatigue, night sweats, disorientation.....). I was a MESS and now am basically well other than still taking maintenance antibiotics.

We decided to take me off T and try hCG to see if we could jump-start my pituitary gland, which sends a chemical signal to the testes to produce stestostrone and sperm. It worked in that it got my T level up but it would not stay up if I went off the hCG. What this suggests is that the Lyme disease affected my pituitary gland. We made a decision for me to stay on HCG, as everything just seems to be better on it, rather than T. Interestingly, switching to hCG brought my PSA down to 1.

I have posted on a website called lymenet.org for a number of years and my anecdotal observation is that almost all male lymies have low testosterone, be they sixeen or sixty, and almost all (again, young or old)have had problems with prostatitis.

So, externally introduced testosterone can definitely help guys who are already low. Among guys I have known, the injections seem to be more reliable than the gel. If possible, learning the underlying cause and treating it can have many benefits.

has anyone here tried testesterone supplements?im in need of a little BOOST!and thinking they might help.

So, you are saying that tribulus terrestris is actually a testosterone supplement? Not an enhancer, but an actual direct source of testosterone?
what so your saying test enanthate and the rest isnt a steroid,

No, brilliant one, I'm saying that testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate, or testosterone propionate ARE all steroids. You are the one who made the claim above that tribulus terrestris is actually a testosterone steroid, not me. I'm sure your medical degree and your specialist certification in endocrinology are something to be proud of. Please continue to give your fine advice here.
