Do you ever worry about your levels? So many ads for low T and how testosterone is linked to mood libido etc and how it decreases with age. But there’s really not a lot of things to “boost” it other than totally replacing it which is a life altering decision. But prior to the trt movement people just aged gracefully no one thought about it

On the diet and exercise, does anyone have links to some proper studies? This is exactly the sort of thing where someone could have run a study in which they chose 500 men, asked them about their exercise habits and then measured their testosterone and found the two were correlated. That does not prove causation, though, in fact it would seem more likely that cause and effect were the other way round, i.e. those whose testosterone was naturally high felt more need for exercise.

A study would ideally recruit men, measure their starting testosterone level, then divide into three groups: one doesn't change anything, one increases the amount of exercise and the other decreases the amount of exercise then the researchers measure again to see what change there has been. Likewise with each dietary change that is thought to have an effect.

Depends on how you feel and what your levels are. You may or may not benefit from hormone replacement. I think every man should get his T levels drawn at their yearly checkup.

Human body is a crazy mystery… last year at this time my testosterone was bordering around 400 and I’m 60 and this year I just had another testosterone test and I’m bordering 500.

Yes, but I believe the increases are temporary.
Indeed. magazines and articles put out this stuff "Lift heavy to boost your T! Take fish oil and Vitamin D3" etc,. Its pipedreams. Of course those things are good, but if your test levels are in the crapper, nothing else besides TRT is gonna help.

If you lift temporarily the increases are temporary, sure.

Most guys who think their test levels are in the crapper are really just living a sedentary lifestyle.
