Why did Gavin Newsom go to French Laundry with no mask and ZERO social distancing?

The Republican party does not have a total monopoly on wealthy entitled hypocrites. Newsom is just one pasty example of a Dem that makes public gaffes. After all, he made the ever so "wise" choice of marrying that, now, shrill MAGA banshee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, on purpose, back in 2001. So take that into account when considering his "judgement". There are idiots "on both sides".

Newsom fucked up when he publicly took lunch with friends, without wearing masks at a fancy restaurant at the high point of California's first "lockdown"... But, tell us, do you wear a mask when you are feeding your pie-hole?

Unlike Ted Cruz, he admitted to his blunder as being a mistake. Cruz will go on and on and on making excuses for his.

Hopefully the ongoing vaccinations will mitigate the damage somewhat. But why, oh why not wait just a little while longer, now that we're on a path toward some kind of real herd immunity?

Not good. We're at twice that level here in my community, but still have a long way to go. Meanwhile, restaurants are allowed to operate at 25% capacity, but apparently many of them are packed.

Have I got this right? 10 years ago Texas was told to prepare for freezing weather. It froze. Texans froze to death. No electricity No heat. No food. No running water. It was due to green energy Then the pipes burst. Homes flooded and damaged. Boil your water. $6,000 to $16,000 dollar electric bills. Federal relief approved. Funerals to pay for, homes damaged and Texans are told to use federal funds to pay their electric bills. Investigations into the cause for power failure. Calls for the governor to resign. Billions in lawsuits against the state. Looks bad for republicans. Republican governor opens up the state and no masks. So now all is forgiven. Let’s celebrate at McDonald’s without a mask
