So, then, why do you think think that some home and business owners have gone to the expense of installing solar panels on their own rooftops and properties? Was it just an expensive way for them to impress people who believe in all of the latest PC claptrap?
Perhaps it could be that the people who do purchase these things, unlike yourself, do believe that it could help us preserve our environment? Not everything is done to save money.
What's so funny to me on a personal note is that since one of my own neighbors actually did spend a lot of his own money to put solar panels on one-half of the roof of his house, and all he does now is brag to the rest of us at our dinner parties about how he pays nothing on his electric bill. He has yet to brag about how "environmentally green" he is though.
And, of course, you're basing the entire practice on the actions of your neighbor. Nice.
Then don't use MY tax dollars to do it. If you are all about "alternative energy" sources, all because you feel the need to "do something" about the HOAX otherwise known as "manmade global warming," then YOU pay for them. Don't rob me instead.
That is a lame argument that exposes more of your own greed than compassion. Everyone who pays taxes have to deal with the fact that a portion of their contributions will go to causes that you may not believe in. If you don't like what's going on, then don't pay your taxes... and we all know what's going to happen over time if you keep avoiding that. Just ask Wesley Snipes.
