Fitness level has very little to do with the insertable length of the penis. It affects the visible length, but fat is soft and can be pushed out of the way easily. It's illogical to say that insertable length is less than the length shown in a bone pressed measurement, regardless of extra weight (within reason). If that were the reality then bone pressed measurements wouldn't be a thing since no would be able to press a ruler through the fat pad.

First and foremost, the argument that babies fit through a vagina is about as phenomenally bad as the one that a condom can't be too small. Secondly, I fail to see how a speculum isn't a valid method of measuring. Noone claims it as the end all be all of vaginal depth measuring, but it isn't an unreliable one either. Of course it will be off because of angle and individual circumstances, but that's not what the studies showed. It's about average capacity, which is does represent quite well.

Thirdly, the root causes you point out, like vaginismus, are by nature rare. They are a anomaly, that only a minority of the population experience. Otherwise they wouldn't be classified as such. I could only find a german study, that set the rate of vaginismus at 10 to 15 percent. Pretending that a majority of cases are caused by this is a horrible missrepresentation.

I mean if we want to go real hardcore, we can calculate the standard deviations of the calculated vaginal size and say, very conservatively that we put 2 SDs onto the average. Even then I would guess, that moderately above average penis would be bigger. I haven't had time yet to read through the study, but like I said, I can only guess for now, but if you're willing to take that bet we can surely look through the sources and calculate the probability of your claim.
