I say this in the kindest way about Jonah; often the biggest liars would have been better suited to become fiction writers. If I recall correctly, I read somewhere something about him being a talented writer, or actor, or something like that. If he were a bit better at separating his fantasy specifically into fiction, and not insisting on parading around the lie between his legs, he'd have been able to make a good living from it.

I don't think they start out attempting to be malicious or with the kind of sociopathy where someone would harm someone else for fun or take pleasure in another's suffering. Many people who are mentally ill never move out of their parents home. I think this particular mental illness stems from a disillusionment with the mundane reality they live in. Autism may be involved too.

These guys come up with a fictional character that has the attributes they'd desire, from being an undefeatable champion fighter, to the guy with the world's biggest crank. They are so invested in it they end up playing this out in real life.

Frank Dux is a good example. The guy is now well known to be a fake martial artist who made elaborate stories, some of which have been turned into movies. The vast majority of traditionally published, let alone self-published, authors will never have their works turned into a movie.

While "biggest peepee" alone isn't all that creative, Jonah has all sorts of additional stories about famous women who sought him out for sex. It's a fantasy I could see doing well in fictional form.

Instead of writing their best seller about the ninja special forces secret agent with a giant penis, they instead try to convince the world they really are that guy.

The is an absolutely fascinating post and I completely agree. I myself actually remember hearing the "real" Frank Dux story & thinking how similar he was to Jonah. Relatively esoteric things like martial arts, spec ops, or (oddly enough) cock size are great arenas for fantastic tales.

Jonah is in fact a writer and actor, and I agree it's a shame he didn't channel his creative energies not writing more. His bullshit was both believable enough to the public and interesting. It's a shame he didn't use his powers for good, but I imagine there's some deep-sated insecurities and trauma there (perhaps even a touch of autism from my few interaction with him). My best friend's father was the same way, telling all these fantastic tales about fistfights he was in & women he slept with. I honestly don't think JF just showed up with that 13.5 inch thing, which explains why he had stuff like that masturbation video out there. I don't think I could force myself to watch it again to find out, but I'm thinking it started after that HBO documentary, and that specific number may not come up in it. Man, who really knows, but that's around what I've always guessed as well (maybe in the seven something range going by that masturbation video). I do believe that the more impressive naked appearances, in addition to a little bit of visual trickery (pubes,foreskin,cropped off legs), are probably what his mostly erect dick looks like when wrapped in a bunch of foreskin.
