It's a funny thing - I have a 12 oz bottle of Bud Light here which measures 7-3/4 around. Somehow your pic doesn't seem quite as large around as my beer bottle yet the tape says otherwise.

the base girths of quite a few lil fellas on LPSG are quite large

mine is over 8.5, whereas my mid is 7.0, formerly 4.5

my vote is for the mid girth measurement

Shoot... that leaves me out... but that's why I asked!

I suggest measure only mid. Base ends up including testicle skin and the like. Not a true measure of what a women/man gets.
