What I have come to believe is that Logo isn't a channel for gay people. It is a channel for straights to be able to watch their ideas of gay people. Perhaps that's why the programming consists of butch lesbians, drag queens, effeminate men, and shallow bed hopping gym rats. The remaining time is given to repeats of MTV "reality" programs. What it also comes down to is ratings. Would anyone watch if the "A-List" consisted of community minded, monogamous, emotionally mature, average men?
Agree with you on that point because it is the way Hollyweird and the LA superficiality culture want to portray all of gay life as one big circuit party with occasional interruptions for commercials (like jobs, etc.).
