hint:
the minority, be it republican or democrat, still has an obligation to represent the views of the people it represents.
when the democrats were the minority party in the house and senate they had an obligation to represent the views of the people who voted for them.
So do the republicans.
the people that did not vote for the those who in power, have a right to be represented and their representatives have an obligation to vote for their views.
go somewhere else if you do not like representative democracy.
as for the american people "getting it" i did not see one person on that list who had a favorable rating of over 42%. Seems like the american people do get it...neither democrat or republican leaders in congress are seen in a majority positive light.
