sorry! no little red book mentality here -- I actually support everyone's vote, whether I would have voted that way, or not ...

I guess 'support' means silence in the face of derogatory language clearly aimed at your own. And silence of course is de facto acceptance. How very convenient.

American politics in general has always struck me as being extremely naive watching American politicians is like watching 3 year olds talk about religion.

America is a big place, most Americans have never left the country nor care about what goes on in other countries. Economically, until recently they haven't had to.

And you have to remember America got all the religious nuts that were too crazy for Europe.

And most Americans I feel really only care about number 1 and what affects number 1. Plus most people don't look at anything long enough to weigh the options or just choose to ignore any other options other than they one they like. And most political arguments turn into nonsensical screaming matches from what I've experienced.

aw!

the shared feelings of foreigners and American libs

their shared, inherent anti-Americanism is always very revealing
I think that is more revealing of the Republican mindset than anything else said here. "the shared feelings of foreigners and American libs". So you're saying what exactly? Republicans stand against everyone who's not an American Republican as the keepers of the one right and only true way? It's this kind of "Everybody is out to get me" mentality which has caused the credibility of the Republican Party to tank so hard in recent years.
