No, I don't think he can get in any trouble professionally speaking. But with his wife, thats a different story. The biq question is why he didn't want the issue investigated. Its going to be though, because hacking into a congressman's stuff is a big time felony. And he couldn't deny it was him? It probably is, and I don't care. I think he is trying to protect his marriage, honestly.
As much as I can't stand him (the guy's just a red faced pound the table with your fist politician) I hate to see marriages ruined.
There's a difference between hacking one's Twitter account and one's bank account. Give the photo in question, it really makes no sense for Weiner to put so much time & effort into investigating what is the equivalent of a childhood level prank. At least I think so.
Think about all of the spam a person receives over the course of a year... pictures that may be sent or attached to messages or social networking accounts that weren't yours. Is a Twitter account so personal, so precious and so sacred that it requires an investigation? Better yet, was Weiner's reputation destroyed because a picture like that was posted or sent through his account? It's a waste of his time and everyone else's, and Weiner knows this.
