I don't think these doctors have enough data. The data is usually private information, so I understand the difficulty in conducting studies on the phenomenon. At some point, the medical establishment is going to have to change their standard response: "see a psychiatrist or therapist" when somebody brings up penis size.

Nobody wants to be the smallest guy in the room.

I do not see what a psychiatrist/psychologist has to do or can help with a physical problem. Also, it does not matter if you are the smallest or not, what matters is not being small.

the reason they advise the therapist is to help resolve mental issues relating to not being content with the body you have. *shrugs*

How will that fix a physical problem?

It doesn't. But it makes things easier for them if you just accept what they say.

It's against human nature to accept our limitations. We'd still be living in caves if people were satisfied with everything we were given.

That being said, it's important to know when to back off... people go through some crazy procedures (I'm thinking about height enhancement, for example) for superficial reasons.

breaking the bones in the shins to have them regrow longer... for a humane example of this, it's in the movie Gattaca.

This interview is so fallacious and incorrect. So many of the things that doc says are wrong. PE doesn't work with scar tissue, its just regular tissue. It doesnt target the skin, it targets the erectile chambers. Real studies are out there that prove the efficacy of extenders and other devices when used consistently over several months, a fact that doctor happily ignores while flouting some study about guys doing PE without mentioning how long they did it how consistent they were or even providing a link to the study.

When in doubt about the truthfulness of something, follow the money. What do random people have to gain by telling others to do free manual exercises that require no equipment, books or supplements? Nothing. What do doctors have to gain if natural PE is buried? Well penis enlargement surgery is very expensive and probably brings in tons of cash for these doctors. So there's an incentive there for them to discourage natural PE methods that can be done for free.

I know PE works because I've grown myself. I'm just over 8 inches in length now. I know for sure that I wouldn't have been where I am without PE

Well I do try to enlarge my penis myself (so far without results) and while I want to believe that it works I haven't seen a single convincing before/after pic from anyone yet. The discussion boards are full of people claiming that it works, but absolutely no one has come up with actual proof, which is strange considering people doing this probably for longer that cameras exist.
So if anyone can provide a real before/after pic (same dick, same angle, same camera, same lens, etc), I'd be very interested.

I don't have any problems with the standard medical advice coming from this urologist, but acting like guys wanting a larger penis is just a "psychological problem" (the same people are telling you that masculinity is toxic) when women routinely get breast implants and other plastic surgery seems disingenuous.

So by this logic if a woman wants a breast enlargement or reduction she should forget about it and go see a therapist.

that's different.
breast is easy to grow since there is no erection needed lol and its function so penis healthy i simportant
as well breast increase helps to attract men but women mostly don't care penis size ... except if u are too big and they don't like

anyway she says only working (possibly so could not work) is extender
and she is very good to explain and she is a specialist ;)

How will that fix a physical problem?

Indeed mate! It doesn’t.... it couldn’t at all; it’s only the mental “perception”

I love what my Urologist & plastic surgeon said to me....

You can and should go see a psychologist or psychiatrist (US term overused in Auz this is a totally different specialist ie medications etc..); however yes it might help you get overtime comfortable, and ok with it all and will take a minimum of 6months to 1year or more.... OR you can have the procedures and be done in a day operation; recover for a few weeks and it’s “resolved”....”

Point being it’s an option/ opinion....

However as I think the video mentioned.... if anyone had a micro penis as defined then obviously a full procedure would be a lot better!

Or

Penile urology health issues; hence I had this done for health issues “tight circumcision” too much skin was removed at birth; and caused pain and tight shaft; pulling balls skin up! Etc .... thankfully surgery worked; and the benefit was pain relief and a bonus was 1.5extra inches to length erect and not much change to flaccid.... until they did the filler part and flaccid 0.5-0.8 longer

erect: 5.5 -7inch roughly (using mm to Inch conversion for US)

Hope that helped anyone - I certainly did have a physical and emotional reason; yet they both equally informed my choice!

I posted this on album Journey of surgery; if you anyone interested! Cheers guys

I imagine if you're a consultant urologist, then most of your encounters with PE are guys who have botched it completely and ended up with a trainwreck down there that you can't even piss out of, or perhaps patients who have spent money on some of the scams that you see advertised and can't understand why they haven't added several inches in a month. So yes, you might prefer people talk it over with a therapist before that kind of damage is done.

This website proves that some men have deep-seated psychological issues around their cock size that probably won't go away even if they are able to extend their way to an extra half inch. I'm not saying anyone in particular here "needs therapy", but it might be more productive than hours spent jelqing and getting nowhere. It would be different if there was a surgery that was as easy to do as breast implants, but there isn't, and frankly even breast implants aren't an ideal solution for everyone.
