They were incredibly stunning and became one of the most leading pop groups ever. Their fame took such a long period of success and their popularity belongs to the most remarkable entertainment stories ever. BARRY, MAURICE and ROBIN started in the late 50=ies in Australia and moved to Great Britain in the 60=ies where they started a real world career.
Songs like Words, Massachusetts, Tragedy, Staying alive or You win again accompanied many of us and stimulated different generations with individual voices and specific sound experiences also as composers. The Gibb Brothers conquered the world of music and are still unforgettable stars from the past.
Unfortunately brother Maurice died in 2003 and brother Robin in 2012. Just Barry is still alive (born 1946). A 4th brother, Andy, who was a popular singer himself but never member of the legendary group just became 29 years old when he died in 1988. A real tragedy.
Barry Gibb keeps the legend going. More than 120 millions of records have been sold. The Bee Gees became a real milestone in musical entertainment history.
Barry was also voted for sexiest man alive in 1968. And what a hunk he was! The group was also known for their hot outfits and the tight pants showing huge bulges. So it was a pleasure to listen to them and to watch them. Very handsome males. Real hotties.
This is a little remembrance of a unique band which pleased us with countless hits and unforgettable moments. I am so glad that they always tried to make us happy. They often succeeded. Thank you, guys!
