OMG I loved that song! Rick Astley rocks! I always thought he was lip synch-ing. He has this deep black guy's voice for being a skinny pale English dude. I remember him looking sooo old in this video. lol.

None of those videos has shit on Rockabilly great Johnny Burnette's son Rocky's "Tired of Toein' The Line"

What's even worse is that I dig the fucking song. Hell, I was in 3rd or 4th grade when it was out and I liked it as a seven year old.

Show me the seven year old and I'll show you the man.

Some of you are waaay mixed up on what constitutes 80s cheese.

This is classic 80s New Wave awesomeness.

    So is this...

    And this.

On the other hand...this is 80s cheese.

    And this...

    And this.

The first group is totally tubular.

The second group is grody to the max.

    Human League....yes!

And remember Soft Cell - Tainted Love

I liked that Hold Me Now song by Thompson Twins - Odd name for a group with 3 members. Actually the video isn't all that cheezy. Has some production value and editing.

Actually it is a really cool video. Not cheesy at all. This Ah Ha song always reminds me of a bad breakup with a girlfriend in those questioning years for me.

I have nieces in their late teens/ early 20's who just love 80's music too. Not sure what the appeal is but they told me they think it's upbeat and fun. Ah the 80's. They've raided my cassette collection.
