So, i am a fan of penis enlargement. it boosts my confidence and gives me a reason to stay healthy (i quit doing drugs / smoking cigarettes because of it). also, i like to keep track of my gains by measuring, but i have noticed that i can measure it in different ways with different results. i started at just over 6 inches by 5, and am now closer to 7.5 by 6.25 depending on how much i am flexing my PC muscles and where i measure from. If i measure from the top its closer to 7.25, from the side its about 7.5, and if i measure from the bottom its closer to 8.

My question is, what do you think is the best / most accurate / most common way of measuring?

I believe the proper way is on the top from the pubic bone. Your penis is therefore 7.25

It makes sense if you think about it, as thats how long the bit that actually goes into your partner is

my girlfriend argues this to the end.
she says side measurement shows what "all" comes in.
and other girls i have met always measured from the side as well.
and even in pornos they measured from the side.
when you penetrate your cock is at an angle where your base
    comes in as well.

i still go by topside measurement though.

If I measure from the topside, and I just did this a few minutes ago, I get 6.75". If I press and I'm harder than usual or edging, I can get 7". I'm so skinny though, I really am not gaining much by bone pressing it. I also have a slight upward curve. If I do it from the side I can get 7.25".

All scientific studies are done bone pressed along the top period. This is the accepted way , not the side, not from the balls, not along the bottom from your ass, etc..

First of all, I'm a fan of penis enlargement. (For all the wrong reasons, though... I haven't been to the gym in over a year. Then again, I don't need to.)

Secondly, don't measure too often! Too many times (when I used to go to the gym trying to gain muscle) I'd weigh myself or measure my biceps only to be disappointed. Like any changes to the body, it takes time. Measure only every two or three months. If you measure less often, the changes are more significant, thereby giving you more encouragement.

Third/lastly, I think the "right" way to measure is along the top; use a flexible measuring tape so that you can account for any curvature... don't press against the pubic bone. I'd really love to be a full double digits, but I can't unless I measure from the back of my spine.

The reason you use a "Bone Pressed" measurement is that this way you will remove any fat pad changes from the measurement. Some guys have lost weight and gained a inch:cool:

I understand that... but if it's not there, what's the point? It's like saying I'm six feet tall when standing in stilettos.

On the other hand, cheers to the guys that have gained an inch my losing weight! I figure I've lost about 1/2" by smoking alone. I wish I had that courage.
