Well...it's only days away - 3 days. I move to Columbia, MD on Wednesday. My house here in CT is now packed up. The POD leaves tomorrow. I drive to MD on Wednesday and start the move into my new apartment.

I'm so conflicted. On one hand, I'm so excited. On the other hand, I'm scared, sad, and just want to call the whole thing off! But I know this is the right thing to do. I just hope I meet some nice people...oh well.

Wishing you the best! You have easy access to a HUGE variety of cultural events in D.C. as well as the nitty-gritty charm of Baltimore. As with the majority of people in the area...plenty of transplants from elsewhere who are usually willing to reach out of their comfort zones and make new friends.

    Safe travels on 95 :)

Thank you Mikey :) I have lived in the DC area off and on three times in my life, once as a kid and twice as an adult...so you never know :p

BiBro...the proximity to DC was one of the reasons I said yes to the job and the move. I've been to DC a couple of times and loved it. I can't wait to go on adventures. Come visit and play tour guide!
