Had mine done under general anesthesia. I would highly recommend keeping AS MUCH foreskin as humanly possible. People dont realize that the "good" feeling during sex is actually more foreskin than head sensation. The tightness is up to you knowing your own junk. If you're a show-er, you'll want to do it tight to keep it tight at full mast. If you're a grower, you'll want to do it a bit looser in comparison when flaccid to allow you to grow without your own skin holding it back from full extension. High and tight seems to be the general consensus. DONT do low. you'll lose WAY too much feeling and be fucked the rest of your life.
Part of the benefit of being cut is having the head completely exposed during the in AND out part of thrusting. Foreskin was always annoying for me because it would flop back over and cover the head on the out-stroke, and then I wouldnt feel ANYTHING. So in most ways sex is better now. Impromptu sex is for sure better, as is self-masturbation and oral. In some other ways sex since getting cut has not been as good since they didnt keep as much foreskin as I told them to. (They said the reason was because they needed to make sure they removed the rigid band that causes phimosis. I still think they could have left some more though...) But yeah, I can feel EVERYTHING now compared to before. I like it better visually and horniness-wise. Looking down pre-cut always felt "meh". But now, looking down and seeing everything fully out and ready for action comes with much more confidence and hormones. (YMMV of course as some prefer the uncut look)
(This is coming from someone who had a completely "normal" working member, unlike many other stories I've heard. Foreskin had full mobility and the head wasnt perma-covered due to balanitis/phimosis or anything like that.)
